FOSS

The Friends of Soudley School (FOSS) are a group of parents and staff who organise fundraising events to support the learning, activities and all those extra little things that benefit our children and school.

Over the last  few years, money raised by FOSS has been used to provide educational equipment for the school, theatre visits, sports day refreshments, school trip snacks and paid for the Year 6 children to have a cooked breakfast during their SATs week. We are also funding the sports day medals and a

Year 6 Leavers book for the children leaving Soudley School at the end of this year.

FOSS has also organised fun activities for the school and local community to enjoy such as school discos, fashion shows, Easter egg hunts and family fun days, including the infamous annual Soudley Duck Race.

We have also teamed up with the school to raise money for RNLI and SARA, the Severn Area Rescue Association – a Specialist marine and land search rescue service for Gloucestershire, Hereford & Worcestershire, and Gwent and made donations to the Forest food bank.

FOSS carry out many fundraising activities throughout the year including cakes sales, raffles, Easter colouring competitions, a second hand uniform shop and Bags2School clothing collections.

We are always keen to welcome new members. Parents, carers, grandparents, aunties and uncles and family members are all welcome. If you can spare any time or help out at any of our events please come forward, we would love to have as many people as possible involved.
